Years ago, my friend and I both applied for the same job and we both got an interview. We were thrilled but we immediately felt a little awkward because we were now in competition with each other.

Sitting together in the waiting room was brutal. To make a long story short he got the job and I didn’t. It had nothing to do with my qualifications or skills but my overall attitude, which I will further explore on a future post.
